Mammography Tech Location: Oakland, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,359 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Mammography Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: 2 years required License: California State Mammography Licensure required Certifications: ARRT, BLS, CRT Must-Have: - Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology - Experience in diagnostic and screening mammograms - Familiarity with Epic charting system Description: Position involves performing mammography procedures in various locations. Technologists will float between multiple sites as needed. Shifts are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. On rotating weekends, shifts are Tuesday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with Monday off. The role requires performing both diagnostic and screening mammograms efficiently. Knowledge of digital mammography and Hologic 3D technology is essential. Technologists must adhere to universal precautions and core measures. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills to interact with patients. Proper documentation and charting in the system are required. This position may involve working with an outreach program and mobile units. All certifications must be in hand at the time of application. Ideal candidates will demonstrate patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
