Our team of ophthalmologists, optometrists, opticians, and staff work collaboratively to ensure the best eye care for our patients. Role Description This is a full-time on-site Optometrist role located in Pleasanton, CA at Valley EyeCare Center Medical Associates. The Optometrist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing the vision and eye health of patients. Day-to-day tasks include conducting comprehensive eye exams, prescribing corrective lenses, detecting eye diseases, and providing personalized eye care solutions. An interest in pediatric, myopia control, and medical optometry is beneficial. Qualifications Experience in conducting comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing eye conditions Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment Knowledge of contact lens fittings and prescriptions Excellent patient care and bedside manner Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school Current Optometrist license in the state of California Experience in a medical setting or ophthalmology practice is a plus
