Job Description:
Duties: Will analyze product opportunities, advocating for great
omni-channel experiences. Will align product strategy and roadmap with
company strategy including experience strategy, target financial outcomes, and
understanding the economic return. Will incorporate customer, market, and
competitive analysis into strategic recommendations by tracking and
integrating customer and company success metrics. Will collaborate with
different business teams representing user and company needs, and present
to internal stakeholders as the “product expert.†Will collaborate with
leadership and internal stakeholders to determine product priorities and secure
funding or strategic buy-in to build, buy and partner to advance product
strategy. Will contribute to overall product vision, strategy, development
and execution including product definition, vision, strategy,
and initiative/roadmap development. Will assess technology,
experience, and methodology developments to ensure best-in-class but
highly-efficient experiences and product development processes. Will ensure
product backlog represents a plan for increasing customer value over time
through market differentiation and the delivery of great customer experiences
across channels and touchpoints. Will drive product development and
enhancement of one or more omni-channel experience products that maximize
customer and company value. Will collaborate with engineering, user
experience, customer experience strategy, and design to ensure quality and
consistency of experience. Will utilize customer-centric thinking, discovery
and research, rapid iteration, and lean practices to quickly validate backlog
concepts. Will drive software development product management activities
aligned with experience and product vision by constantly grooming product
backlog (aka prioritized roadmap). Will lead product management activities by
developing expertly defined requirements, identifying and managing
dependencies, ensuring research and design, following and enhancing processes,
defining acceptance criteria and quality measures. Will generate all
product, project, and platform artifacts for product development
(business cases, cost-benefit analyses, product overviews) and product management
(including platform requirements, project briefs, detailed business
requirements, flow documents, epics, and stories). Will be the product owner in
agile/scrum product development or project owner in conventional product
development. Will define and track product-specific analytics. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent foreign education) in
Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field plus
five (5) years of experience in product development in a
digitally-oriented envi environment related to consumer services. OR, in the alternative: Master’s degree (or equivalent foreign education) in
Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field plus three (3)
years of experience in product development in a digitally-oriented
environment related related to consumer services. Special Requirements: 1. Demonstrated expertise collaborating with leadership and
internal stak stakeholders to determine product priorities. 2. Demonstrated expertise developing defined requirements,
identifying and ma managing dependencies, ensuring research and design, following
and en enhancing processes, and defining acceptance criteria and
quality measures. 3. Demonstrated expertise generating all product, project, and
platform artifacts for product development (business cases, cost-benefit
analyses, pr product overviews) and product management (platform
requirements, project br briefs, detailed business requirements, flow documents, epics,
stories). 4. Demonstrated expertise working in a KPI-driven environment to
deliver products designed to create a positive omni-channel customer
experience. 5. Demonstrated expertise collaborating closely with engineering
to co communicate the intent of technical requirements and propose
solutions dr driven by the squad. 6. Demonstrated expertise journey mapping at the product,
