Service - Quality - Knowledge The Seed Sales Specialist works in collaboration with the Sr. VP of Sales and/or the Sr. VP of Production to serve customers purchasing native seed and erosion control products from the company.Sales Activities-- Work up bids and pricing under the guidance of Senior Sales Staff for seed and erosion control materials.-- Consult with customers and agencies on seed mix designs-- Over time, take on a book of business as determined by Senior Sales Staff-- Take customer calls and emails directly as needed and assist with pricing orders and consulting.-- Support Senior Sales Staff in the development and maintenance of special contracts-- Assist with developing and implementing competitive bidding procedures-- Help Senior Sales Staff and the admin team in executing and maintaining efficient order processing procedures-- Assist the Senior Sales Staff in efforts associated with inventory management-- Process customer orders and follow through with warehouse manager on any specific needs of the customerMarketing & Business Development -- Assist Senior Sales Staff in promoting the usage and benefits of native seed the market with key influencers in government agencies and NGOs-- Help Senior Sales Staff promote the Company's ability to produce unique local ecotype seed-- Work closely with the Senior Sales Staff to develop a comprehensive marketing program including trade events, speaking engagements, marketing materials, etc. Working Conditions:While this is an office position, please note that you will be required to work near an environment containing dust and other plant related debris.
